‘Zero Hour’ wraps up shooting

Iranian filmmaker Hussein Husseini Rekavandi wraps up the shooting on the film ‘Zero Hour’.

Iranian filmmaker Hussein Husseini Rekavandi has wrapped up the shooting on the feature film ‘Zero Hour’.

The crime, drama, thriller movie has also completed the post-production stage simultaneously with its shooting.

The report comes as the film also applied to attend Iran’s Fajr International Film Festival.

‘Zero Hour’ is about “a woman named Nazanin whose husband, Arash – who was the head of the Regional Forestry Directorate in northern Iran -- was killed in a suspicious accident several years ago. Nazanin, alongside her friend Faezeh and her family, go on a trip and head to forests in northern Iran where she finds a clue to the murder of her husband,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The film is starring Nazila Isfahani, Majid Nadimi, Setareh Soltani and Meysam Amirzadeh.

Fajr International Film Festival will be held on April 16- 24, 2020.

The 38th edition of the national edition of the festival took place on February 1-11 in Tehran.

The Fajr Film Festival coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr (Dawn) ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
